After a very long ferry ride and a VERY bumpy bus ride we eventually came to a little town on Palawan Island called Port Barton. It could have been another tropical paradise for us if it weren’t for the fact that I got sick, and the weather was getting a little cloudy and drizzly. It seemed as though I just caught a cold except it was accompanied by pretty severe body aches and fever. Fern took care of me for a few days while we waited out the weather and figured out our next direction. Fortunately we got an afternoon of snorkeling in before I got sick and it was pretty spectacular.
