On our way north from Kuala Lumpur back to Thailand we stopped in a couple of places to relax, first of which was Pangkor Island. There wasn’t much going on but the unique character of the place made it a charming place to hang out for a while. Nice people, good food, hornbills, a strange old Chinese temple, nice beaches, and lots of monkeys everywhere. One even stole my beer when we were laying on the beach one day. Fortunately I’d already pretty much finished it.
